After it looked like Aston Villa got back on track to lurk near the top-3, the Birmingham based club got demolished at home by Tottenham Hotspur, falling nine points behind the leading Arsenal.
A tough week with a trip to Amsterdam and an aforementioned clash with the Spurs will change to another uneasy one. Ajax will come to Villa Park, as the hosts will try to advance in the Conference League after an emotional “0-0” draw in the Netherlands, before the Villans travel to London Stadium to face West Ham United on Sunday.
