Chelsea
This has been another lost season at Stamford Bridge, as Chelsea is still searching for identity and a healthy roster.
The Blues were relatively successful during the knockout competitions, as they made it to the EFL Cup final and will play Manchester City at Wembley in the FA Cup semi-finals, but the Premier League was not kind to Chelsea. Sitting only in eleventh spot in the standings, Chelsea has 11 wins in 28 games, including a weekend draw with Burnley, which is far from what both team and its fans expected back in summer.
Manchester United
Manchester United is in a weird spot in the standings, where they are far away from top-5 but it is not looking as they will be finishing lower than sixth, despite its best efforts to drop points left, right and center.
While the FA Cup is the only remaining chance to earn the trophy this season, United will still try to push Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa for the Champions League slot. For that, the Red Devils will have to win out, unlike the weekend draw in Brentford, and while unlikely, this is still a team which managed to beat Liverpool just two weeks ago.

While the last Chelsea win over Manchester United dates back to 2020, the Blues have not won a fixture during the Premier League since 2017, which is colossal considering the level of the teams throughout the years.
