Blowing by Aston Villa on the road nearly got the Spurs an upper hand, but an untimely crushing defeat at Craven Cottage against Fulham pushed Tottenham back again. Still with a game to spare, the Spurs are three points behind the coveted fourth spot, as they will look to get back on track at home this weekend.
Luton Town
A rollercoaster of a ride for the past few weeks left Luton Town out of the relegation zone, but the Hatters are still only a mere point above the dreadful cut line.
Losing to Sheffield United, giving up a “3-0” lead on Bournemouth and barely getting a draw against Nottingham Forest last round could have put Luton back to the EFL Championship, but a league’s decision to deduct four points from the Forest, kept the Hatters in play. Now, however, another trip to London awaits.
