After spending nearly a decade in the Premier League, the Swans fell to the Championship and despite their best efforts are yet to make it back to the topflight. This season, however, Swansea tumbled down to the bottom half of the standings.
Losing at Bristol City last week left the Welsh team five points above the dreaded cutline to the relegation zone. Earning multiple wins, similar to their streak before a visit to the Robins, would be massive, as the upcoming derby is a good chance to do just that.

Unable to keep their spot in the Premier League longer for a year, the Bluebirds from Cardiff City have struggled in the Championship, finishing 18th and 21st in the last two campaigns.
This one was not looking hot either, but a four game win streak has suddenly turned the tide in the team’s favor. Sitting in tenth place, with nine games still to be played, Cardiff City is only five points away from a Norwich City-Hull City duo at sixth. However, while making playoffs is a reality, there is still a key derby to be played.
