A British derby will arrive at Hampden Park, as Scotland will host Northern Ireland. The starting whistle will blow on Tuesday, March 26, at 8:45 PM CET.
Scotland
Scotland managed to qualify for its second consecutive European championship final stage, as they finished second only to Spain in their group, beating out Norway for the coveted spot.
The British squad is hopeful to improve from their mere point in three games in 2021, but a monstrous group is waiting in the wings. Germany, Switzerland and Hungary are all ranked higher in the global standings than The Tartan Army and the friendly games against Gibraltar and Finland in June do not inspire much confidence either.
However, it is still March and there is a British derby coming up.
Northern Ireland
The Norn Iron looked to become a regular competitor for the spots at the biggest events, but recently it all fell apart again for the 74th ranked side in the global football.
Northern Ireland struggled mightily during the qualifying process, as they lost seven games out of ten, including two wins over an outmatched San Marino. Team will participate in the next Euro, as it is going to be hosted in the United Kingdom, but to replicate 2016 and advance to the top-16, it will require a lot of preparation.

Interestingly enough, teams have only faced each other 36 times despite both being in a cradle of world football, with the last game happening back in 2015.
That game ended with a “1-0” victory in favor of Scotland and it is hard to see any other outcome this time, as we will side with the hosts at Hampden Park to win to the delight of the crowd.
