Livingston vs Celtic: prediction for the Scottish Premiership Week 31

The Celts visit the Lions in Week 31!

Celtic needs every possible point to win another title in the Scottish Premiership, as they visit Perth to face off against Livingston. Week 31 match will begin on Sunday, March 31, at 12 PM CET.

After their promotions to the Scottish topflight, Livingston was never in danger of going down to the Championship, but this season the clock has struck midnight.

With only seventeen points to their name, the worst goal difference and a game against the leaders in front, the Lions will not be saved by any miracle, as they are eleven points away from the safety zone and ten - from the play-in match. That, however, does not mean that Livingston will not try and slam the door shut in Perth, as the Celts are coming to town.

Speaking of Celtic, the second most titled team in Scottish football history won every league season in the past decade but one, but still need a few to take over Rangers in an historical table.

Celtic has been relatively shaky recently, as they suffered a major defeat in Edinburgh to Hearts of Midlothians and barely scraped by Livingston in the Scottish Cup. However, they are still leading the table even if Rangers have a game to spare due to a postponement of their match against Dundee.

Prediction ⚽️

The Celts won seven in a row in this series including three times this season, as their last visit to Perth in September ended in a “3-0” despite Celtic finishing the game with ten men on the field.

However, the Scottish Cup date three weeks ago nearly went to overtime, as Celtic needed two late goals to move past the Lions, “4-2”, so it might be a bit harder this time. We will go for the hosts to cover (+2) spread with 1.86 odds 🔥.
