The five time MLS winners remain as one of the most historied MLS franchises, but the issue with the Galaxy is that they have not advanced past the playoffs quarter-finals since their last championship in 2014.

Seeking their first MLS championship since 2019, the Sounders from Seattle have missed playoffs only once in their history, two seasons ago in 2022.
This year, however, is so far a struggle, as the Pacific Northwest finest are winless through their first four matches. A pair of draws at home, two losses on the road in California to LAFC and San Jose Earthquakes - the Sounders fans sure hope that the third one is going to be different.
