The Bees from Brentford are trying their best to hold on to their spot in the Premier League, as they currently are five points above the dreaded cut line.
The expectations, however, were that March will be better for Brentford, as the schedule did not feature the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool anymore. Despite earning a point against Chelsea and battling Arsenal until the end, the Bees suddenly lost to a nearly hopeless Burnley, making things more intense in the lower half of the standings.
Manchester United
The Red Devils are in an awkward position in the table, where it is unlikely for them to collapse hard enough to fall out of a possible European competition berth, but even so to climb to the coveted fourth.
However, if England performs well enough, the fifth place will give a spot in the Champions League as well, as Manchester United are only six points behind the Spurs, albeit, Tottenham has a game to spare. United survived in a thrilling FA Cup quarter-final against Liverpool and will be heavily favored against Coventry City in the semi-finals, but the Premier League is still in the center of attention until the second half of April.
